TTL: Packet Runner (Android app)

This policy covers the mobile application TTL: Packet Runner (the "App"), provided by InfraPax ("we"). For this website, see our website privacy policy .

2. Information We Collect Directly

We do not collect any personal information from you through the App.

The App has no accounts and never asks for your name, email address, telephone number, location, or any other information that could identify you. We operate no server of our own, and the App transmits nothing to us.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following on your device only:

Data storedPurpose
High score and highest layer reachedShowing your previous best
Number of runs playedSpacing out advertising
Audio and other app settingsRemembering your preferences

None of it is transmitted to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the App removes it from the device, but if Android automatic backup is enabled it may be included in a Google Drive backup and restored on reinstall. Whether that happens is governed by your device settings.

4. Advertising

The App shows advertising through Google AdMob, provided by Google LLC. To select, deliver, and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process:

Type of informationPurpose
Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID)Ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement
IP addressDetermining region, fraud prevention
Device information (model, OS version, language)Rendering ads correctly
Ad interactions such as impressions and clicksMeasurement, fraud prevention
Approximate location derived from the IP addressDetermining region
App Set IDAnalytics and fraud prevention across our own apps
Diagnostics (crash and performance data)SDK quality and fault investigation

None of this is something we implemented. The AdMob SDK embedded in the App does it on its own. What we can see in the AdMob console is aggregate reporting — impressions, revenue and the like. We never receive this information in a form that identifies an individual user.

Google's handling of that information is governed by its own policies:

5. Consent and How to Withdraw It

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the App asks for consent through the Google User Messaging Platform before information is used for personalised advertising.

You can withdraw or change consent at any time. Users who were shown the consent form get a "Privacy settings" button on the App's title screen. Users in regions where no consent form is shown have no consent to withdraw, so the button does not appear for them; they can still turn off ad personalisation through their device's advertising ID settings (Section 6).

Declining does not restrict the App. Every feature remains available, and you will either see non-personalised advertising or no advertising at all. Where ads are shown, information such as your IP address is still processed to deliver them and to prevent fraud. Declining does not stop all processing.

6. Resetting or Opting Out of the Advertising ID

Android provides controls to reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation: SettingsGoogleAds.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 — or, in the EEA, under the age set by the member state's own law, which is between 13 and 16.

8. Disclosure and International Transfer

We hold no personal information, so we disclose none to third parties ourselves. However, the information listed in Section 4 is sent directly to Google LLC by the AdMob SDK embedded in the App.

Google LLC is based in the United States, and the information may be processed outside Japan. Google's handling of it is governed by its own privacy policy.

If you consent to personalised advertising, information may also be shared with Google's advertising partners. Where such partners are configured, the list is available from the consent screen shown inside the App.

9. Retention and Deletion

The data stored on your device (Section 3) is deleted when you uninstall the App. Nothing is stored on any server of ours, so there is no data held by us for you to ask us to delete.

Retention and deletion of information sent to Google for advertising is governed by Google's policies and is not something we control. To review or delete information held by Google, use your Google Account's data and privacy controls. Resetting your device's advertising ID also breaks the link between your future advertising ID and the previous one (Section 6).

10. Security

Information the App sends is transmitted by the AdMob SDK over TLS-encrypted connections. We run no server that holds anything the App collects, so there is no user information under our control that could be exposed. Security measures at Google, where the information is sent, are governed by Google's own policies.

11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Because we collect and hold no personal data through the App, these rights are generally exercised against Google. (Information you send us through the website's contact form is covered by the website privacy policy instead.) If you have questions, write to [email protected].

12. Rights of Residents of Certain U.S. States

Certain U.S. state laws give residents the right to opt out of the sale of personal information, of "sharing" as defined by California law, of processing for targeted advertising, and of certain profiling. Which of these rights you have depends on your state of residence and on the laws that apply to us.

Sharing the information in Section 4 with Google and its advertising partners for personalised advertising may qualify as a sale, as sharing, or as processing for targeted advertising under those laws. The App does not use profiling to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Residents of the states concerned are shown an opt-out choice when the App starts (Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information), and can change it at any time using the "Privacy settings" button on the title screen.

Opting out does not restrict the App in any way. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights — not in price, not in quality, not at all.

The App does not collect what those laws classify as sensitive personal information, such as race, health, biometric data, or precise geolocation. The location described in Section 4 is approximate, derived from an IP address, and is not precise geolocation.

For the rights to know, correct, or delete information, see Section 11. Requests may be sent to [email protected], and where the law allows it, through an authorised agent.

13. Policy Updates

We may revise this policy when the law changes or when the App changes. Revisions are posted on this page and the date below is updated.
